I am from Greenville, South Carolina and have a BA from Furman University and a Master of Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry from Southern Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.  My wife, Joy Cox Harmon, is also our church organist.  We have two grown children and three grandchildren. The Lord has blessed me by allowing me to serve as pastor of First Baptist for the last 26 years. Since Jesus is Lord, our church is striving to be alive in Christ and to experience the joy, growth, and usefulness of following Him.
