Sunday School
We have great Sunday School classes for all ages.  We meet each Sunday morning at 10:10am. 

Deacon Ministry
The deacon ministry here at First Baptist Newberry is not an office of authority, but one of service. A man who agrees to serve as a deacon in a New Testament church agrees to be an example in spirit, love, devotion, and loyalty. The deacon ministry has 3 major responsibilities: (1) to assist pastoral staff with ministry to the Body, (2) to assist the church to build and maintain Christian fellowship and unity, and (3) to serve as exemplary Christian leaders in the church and community.


Sanctuary Choir
Singing for the Glory of God
Come and join us in leading worship this Sunday. The Adult Worship Choir has the great privilege in leading our worship service throughout most of the year.
We rehearse every Wednesday at 7:30pm in the choir suite on the 3rd floor. The Adult Worship Choir provides special seasonal music and programs such as those for Easter, July 4th, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. No audition is required.

IMPACT Praise Team
The IMPACT praise team leads worship for our comtemporary worship service. The team has also lead worship at many other events from our annual pig pickin to revivals for both FBC Newberry and other churches. 50+ Senior Ministry
This wonderful ministry and gathering (typically of, but not limited to those 50 years of age and older) is a great place for you to connect, fellowship, and grow together.  50+ has regular monthly luncheon meeting (except during the summer months) with a wonderful hot meal, great fellowship, and fabulous entertainment.  This group also takes regular trip to various places of interest and ministry around our state (sometimes even out of state!).  Make sure you get signed up for our next gathering and/or outing!
